FAQ

Adult supervision is needed to shrink your charms. First, preheat your oven to 325 °F (160 °C). Place the colored charms with the textured side up on a baking sheet lined with some parchment paper. Bake for 1-3 minutes. We recommend keeping an eye on the charms as they shrink, it will ensure everything goes smoothly, and it is super fun to watch! Your charms will curl up as they shrink, this is normal. Once they are finished baking they will flatten out again. If your charms are still curled, or have a deep dent in the center, they need a little more baking.  (In the video you can see what the shrinking process looks like). Immediately after you remove the charms from the over, we recommend you gently press them flat with a spoon or spatula, to make sure they stay perfectly flat.

Yes, you can use your own coloring pencils as well, to have even more colors! Other coloring supplies that work well are sharpies/alcohol markers and acrylic paint markers. However, do not use crayons, oil pastels, washable markers, or regular water-based ink pens, as they can melt, smudge, or do not stick to the plastic when heated.

Yes, all our products have been independently lab-tested to US toy safety standards for worry-free crafting. There will be no burning plastic smell or harmful chemicals released when baking these charms.
